There are very few things I do without intention. I am a bit of an introvert but love talking all the same. I am often deep in thought when alone or with others and have been accused of “thinking too much!” While I definitely do not want to over think anything since we are meant to DO, not just think about doing, I seek to give reason for what I do, say and believe.
Live Your Faith Ministries, when shortened, reads LYF (life). That’s what this is all about…choosing life, not death; blessings not curses.
“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20
Faith is meant to be experienced, not just tucked away in our minds as a nice thing. What would it mean to live out our faith in the same way Jesus did? What would this world look like?
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
I try to post at least once per week. There is always “Something to Consider” at the end of each devotion. We can know truth but it doesn’t really do us any good if we don’t actually live the truth.
